Slow Carb Snack Idea #3

Even though a strict slow carb diet will leave you full and satisfied after each meal, a lot of people still search for slow carb snacks to have in between meals. While this probably is a sign that you could have larger portions for your meals, there are some foods that you can snack on without breaking the slow carb diet rules.

I've published a few posts on some experimental recipes I tried (such as roasted black beans and almond butter on celery), but even more simple than these, there is something much easier to get.

Next time you are craving a slow carb snack in between your slow carb meals, eat a handful of ALMONDS

Don't have too many as nuts do have a lot of calories. But if you eat a handful, it will tide you over until your next slow carb meal, and you can feel good that you haven't broken any of the slow carb rules!

  1. I love your roasted beans idea! I am also trying a slight variation using olive oil, cinnamon, nutmeg and a dash of clove spices. Hoping this may help with sweet cravings.
